April Novak performs research in computational thermal-hydraulics and multiphysics methods, with emphases on multiscale techniques. She has developed computational tools for a wide variety of research applications in nuclear engineering, especially pebble bed reactors, sodium fast reactors, and prismatic gas reactors.
