Jesse is a beamline scientist at the High Pressure Collaborative Access Team, located at the Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory. His scientific interests cover a broad range of topics related to the structure and properties of materials subjected to extreme conditions, and he is also interested in the development of high pressure apparatus and experimental techniques using synchrotron radiation. Jesse was granted degrees in Physics and Philosophy from Temple University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Ottawa.  He joined HPCAT in 2011.
