Jessica Catharine Jones
Postdoctoral Appointee
Biography
Jessica Jones is a postdoctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory working under Alex Martinson in the Emerging Materials Group of the Material Science Division. Jessica’s research interests are thin film nucleation, growth and characterization of thin films. Jessica has focused on novel atomic layer deposition (ALD) methods, specifically site-selective growth modes during her postdoctoral work. Jessica received her Ph.D. from University of North Texas where she worked on epitaxial thin film deposition using ALD and chemical vapor deposition on crystalline substrates. She received dual Bachelor of Science degrees in physics and chemistry from Western Kentucky University.
