Biography

Max works as an Atmospheric Data Scientist working on software and data tools related to atmospheric and climate datasets. He is a member of the Geospatial Computing, Innovations, and Sensing (GCIS) department in the Environmental Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory. Max’s open-source software efforts mainly relate to radar and mesoscale meteorology, as well as earth system model diagnostics. He leads several educational and workforce development efforts, particularly short courses at various academic meetings.
