Stephanie’s area of expertise is genetic sequencing. She specializes in preparing, running, and analyzing genetic sequences from environmental samples on Illumina’s Nextseq 2000 and Miseq systems in Argonne’s high throughput DNA sequencing facility. 

She has been at Argonne since 2012 and has over a decade’s worth of expertise in molecular biology applications. She continues to be an expert in DNA sequencing techniques focusing on characterizing microbial communities from environmental samples and genetic sequencing for waste water surveillance.
