Dr. Toby Rockstroh is a Principal Research Engineer in the Energy Systems Division at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL). His experience in the field of internal combustion engines ranges from work in the South African automotive industry, synthetic fuels research in academia and fundamental combustion research at ANL.

At ANL his research focus is on studying fuel effects and combustion behavior in spark as well as compression ignition gasoline engines. He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and has been a session organizer and chair at SAE events for a number of years.
