Water: Materials

Argonne’s water-related materials projects focus on developing and characterizing various materials such as membranes, electrodes, and catalysts relevant to water monitoring, treatment, selective separation, reuse, and water-enabled energy production.

This research area involves high-throughput
design of water materials, study of material surfaces and material-water interfaces, and development of selective molecular probes.
