Carlo Graziani received a B.S. in applied physics from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science in 1982 and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Chicago in 1993. He was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Chicago for the summer of 1993 and then an NRC/NASA research associate at the Goddard Space Flight Center from 1993 to 1996 and at the Enrico Fermi Institute, the University of Chicago, from 1996 to 1999. He then worked as a science team member of the international High-Energy Transient Explorer (HETE) project for over a decade. In June 2007 he joined the University of Chicago, where he was a research associate professor in the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics. He joined Argonne in 2017.
