RAPID-446: Autonomous Lab for Biotechnology

 RAPID-446
The RAPID-446 lab enables rapid, high-throughput bioengineering for protein and pathway design.

The RAPID-446: Autonomous Lab for Biotechnology at Argonne National Laboratory enables rapid, high-throughput microbial engineering for protein and pathway design.

What it can do

The capabilities in this lab enable scientists to use artificial intelligence (AI) to drive experimental design, learn from outcomes and automate labs to bridge the power of AI and biology. This lab demonstrates high-throughput design and analysis to guide large-scale innovation in enzyme function, pathways and bioengineered strains. Projects are able to run iteratively, building upon knowledge gained from prior rounds of experiments to recombine components into new designs for evaluation.
