EV sales have been growing every year and model availability is impressive with more than 100 models on the market.

EV Model Availability

Mainstream model availability steadily increasing for shoppers, driven by both new products entering the market and price improvements for existing models.

  • There are over 100 electric vehicle (EV) models on the market today, including 19 models from 11 different manufacturers with an EPA driving range of 300 miles or more.
  • 65% of American new vehicle buyers have a BEV available in the category in which they shop (considering vehicle origin, size class, and price) according to J.D. Power.
  • The number of models is growing particularly at the most affordable end of the market.
