Allison Bennett Irion is the director of Supply Chain Research. She works to enhance Argonne’s impact by bringing together cross-disciplinary analytical and experimental capabilities to support resilient and competitive domestic supply chains.

Julie Carrera serves as the Director of the Strategic Security Sciences Division at Argonne National Laboratory. She was previously the Deputy Director of the division. As director, Carrera leads a team devoted to translating discovery and applied science innovations into practical solutions to enduring and emerging national security challenges.

Charles Macal leads the Social, Behavioral, and Decision Science group in Argonne National Laboratory’s Decision and Infrastructure Sciences division. He applies computational modeling and simulation tools to complex systems to solve problems in a variety of fields, including energy and national security.

Lawrence ​“Paul” Lewis is the Program Lead for Community Resilience and Sustainable Development in Argonne National Laboratory’s Decision and Infrastructure Sciences division. In this capacity, Paul leads multidisciplinary analyses of critical infrastructure protection and community resilience strategies across the country, and the development of decision support tools to address these challenges.
