Postdoctoral Research and Career Symposium

Information on the 2026 Postdoctoral Research and Career Symposium is coming soon!

The Postdoctoral Research and Career Symposium (PRCS) is an annual event that showcases the research of Argonne’s postdoctoral researchers and advanced graduate students. The symposium promotes collaboration through networking, and it enables industry and government leaders to connect with and recruit from the nation’s top scientific and engineering talent. It is a one-day in-person event.

Argonne National Laboratory’s postdoctoral program draws top talent from virtually every science and engineering discipline, including mathematics and computer sciences, and gives PhD scientists and engineers an excellent opportunity to kickstart their careers. With close to 300 postdoctoral researchers at various stages of their appointments, Argonne offers a unique opportunity for our partners in industry, government, and academia to collaborate and connect with the next generation of innovators.
