Biography

Yeonsig Nam is a Postdoc in the AMO Physics group in the CSE Division. His research focuses on the development of cutting-edge simulation tools to model a broad range of ultrafast spectroscopic techniques, leveraging the capabilities of existing and future X-ray free electron laser facilities. He investigates the intense X-ray interactions with atoms and molecules, by employing state-of-the-art multireference electronic structure theory, quantum nuclear wavepacket dynamics, and computational spectroscopy.
