Education and Training
- 2015 - PhD at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, thesis title: “Development of X-ray phase-contrast imaging techniques for medical diagnostics: towards clinical application”. “Magna cum laude”.
- 2010 - Master degree in Environmental and Biomedical Physics at the University of Torino (Italy) with a Thesis entitled “Database creation for treatment planning system in adrotherapy”. 110/110.
Main research interests
- Hard x-ray micro- and nano- tomography.
- Biomedical and phase-contrast imaging.
- Software and instrumentation developments.

- 2023 – present: Physicist in the Imaging Group, 32-ID, of the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Laboratory. Lemont, IL, US.
