Anna Doyle specializes in NAGPRA, Forensic Anthropology/Archaeology, and Cultural Resource Management.

Biography

Anna currently serves as a NAGPRA Specialist and Osteologist in the Natural Resources and Heritage Science Department at Argonne National Laboratory. In this role, she supports NAGPRA compliance efforts for agencies within the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and Department of the Interior through internal audits, archaeological and osteological field and collections work, and tribal consultation.

Previously, she has supported numerous federal agencies across the United States in NAGPRA compliance initiatives and cultural resource management efforts, through consultation, collaboration, and related field and office-based work. Her broader experience includes archaeological pedestrian survey, excavation, and osteological analysis in compliance with federal and state legislation. 

Her research interests are grounded in biological anthropology and bioarchaeology, with particular emphasis on ancestry estimation and isoscape analysis.
