Ashish Dave

Ashish Dave is the senior financial business manager for the Physical Sciences and Engineering (PSE) directorate at Argonne National Laboratory. In this role, he leads the directorate’s financial support team and provides leadership and direction on all PSE financial matters, including the development, analysis, and evaluation of financial metrics and measurements; rate and cost variance analysis; budgeting and forecasting; trend analysis; labor charge monitoring; financial resource management; investment risk analysis; and strategic planning. He also serves as a key liaison between PSE and Argonne’s Financial Management and Procurement Services organization, ensuring alignment with the laboratory’s financial policies, procedures and goals.

Ashish brings more than 15 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational partnership, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams, developing long-range forecasts, managing financial controls, and delivering actionable insights to executive leadership. Prior to joining Argonne, he served as associate director of finance and business intelligence at Verizon Wireless, where he supported a multibillion-dollar, multisite consumer business. He previously held roles as a senior consultant in financial analysis at Northern Trust and as a lead financial analyst at US Cellular.

Ashish holds an MBA from the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, a certificate in financial analysis from DeVry University, and a Bachelor of Engineering–Mechanical from Gujarat University in India.
