David O’Gara

Biography
David O’Gara is a postdoc with the Decision and Infrastructure Sciences division. Dr. O’Gara’s primary research interests pertain to modeling, exploring, and intervening on complex dynamical systems to inform decision-making. He has experience building large-scale agent-based models and calibrating them to empirical data. He also maintains open source software tools for modeling complex computer experiments.
Dr. O’Gara received his PhD in Computational and Data Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis in August 2025.
