Derek McLain

Derek McLain is the group leader for the Science & Technology Integration (S&TI) group within the CBRN Detection & Analysis department. His background lies in radiochemistry and aqueous separations, particularly those relating to nuclear forensics and isotope production. Derek also uses these skills as a subject matter expert for international capacity building courses held throughout the world. He has been at Argonne since 2016 and is also the point of contact for Nuclear Forensics R&D at the laboratory.
