Gongxiaohui Chen

Gongxiaohui Chen (who prefers to go by ​“Chen”) is an Assistant Physicist at Argonne National Laboratory’s Argonne Wakefield Accelerator (AWA). Her research interests include high-gradient radio frequency structure design, beam dynamics simulations and scalable multi-physics optimization. Her experience also extends to advanced cathode material studies, including synthesis and characterization.

Chen is the lead principal investigator on a Laboratory Directed Research and Development project focused on advanced photocathodes and on a Physical Sciences and Engineering Early Investigator Named Award project on short-pulse wakefield–based collider concepts.
