Holly M Shearer

Holly Shearer is the Head of Events and Protocol within Argonne’s Communications and Public Affairs division.  She has over twenty years of experience in strategic event management and program development. In this role, Shearer oversees a team that has responsibility for lab-wide events, protocol visits, conference management, and tours. In addition, she leads the effort to plan and host Argonne’s Open House. 

Prior to joining Argonne, she worked at the University of Chicago as chief of staff to an executive level administrator. Prior to that, she led the Evening MBA and Weekend MBA student experience at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. 

Shearer holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in architectural studies from the same institution.
