Biography

Hui Zhou is a Principal Software Development Specialist in the Programming Models and Runtime Systems Group. He received his Ph.D. in chemical physics in 2004 from the University of Maryland at College Park and subsequently developed algorithms for NIST and worked as a research contractor in industry developing finite-difference time-domain software.  

He joined Argonne in 2018, where he has contributed to key projects, including MPI and the high-performance portable implementation MPICH and has been one of the core developers on the OSHMPI project that provides an OpenSHMEM implementation on top of a portable MPI interface.
