Jonathan Ozik

Group Leader of the Modeling, Simulation, and High-performance Computing Group in the Decision and Infrastructure Sciences Division at Argonne National Laboratory, Senior Scientist with Public Health Sciences Affiliation in the Consotium for Advanced Science and Engineering at the University of Chicago, and Senior Fellow in the Northwestern Argonne Institute of Science and Engineering, Northwestern University. Dr. Ozik develops applications of large-scale agent-based models of infectious diseases, healthcare interventions, and other complex systems. He also applies large-scale model exploration and high-performance computing workflows automation broadly across modeling methods and scientific domains. Dr. Ozik leads the Repast project (repast​.github​.io) for agent- based modeling toolkits and the Extreme-scale Model Exploration with Swift (EMEWS) framework for large-scale model exploration capabilities on high performance computing resources (emews​.org).
