Jordi Cabana

Jordi Cabana is the Leader of the Electrochemical Materials and Interfaces Group at the Materials Science Division, and is jointly appointed as Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). His research programs are focused on materials in electrochemical environments, and they span applications in energy storage and electrosynthesis. He employs a variety of characterization techniques, from surfaces to particle assemblies, to elucidate key reaction mechanisms and translate to macroscopic performance.
