Julie A. Smagacz

Julie is the CELS Shared Services Administrative and Operations Support Manager. She joined Argonne as a student in 1989. During her 30+ years of service, she has been instrumental in both the operations and programmatic areas of the laboratory, as well as supporting the ALD office. Her wide range of professional interactions, collaborations, and strong network have provided her with a broad base of knowledge, resources, contacts, and laboratory best practices, all of which she leverages to help others work more efficiently and effectively. She leads by example and has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and responsibilities required to successfully support the laboratory.
