Biography
Dr Junyi Yang is currently a postdoctoral appointee at Material Science Division after receiving PhD from University of Tennessee in 2022. His research focus on exotic quantum phenomenon in heavy transition metal oxides thin film, which includes unconventional superconductivity, emergent two dimensional magnetism and novel spin charge transport. His work on 5d transition metal oxides has been published on Nature Physics, Science Advances, PNAS, Physical Review Letters, etc and he has given talks on his research at several conferences, including invited talks at APS March Meeting.
