Biography
With a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Studies and 10 years of professional experience in historic preservation, city planning, and cultural resource management, Kirsten meets the Secretary of the Interior Standards for Architectural History.

- Dissertation: Engaged with history, identity, memory, conflict, and protesting over proposed development of the Yedikule Market Gardens in Istanbul, Turkey.
- BA in Architectural Studies, Historic Preservation, University of Pittsburgh.
