Lesley Edgemon

Lesley is an emergency management and resilience analyst with Argonne National Laboratory’s National Preparedness Analytics Center. She works within the emergency management and scientific communities to improve cross-disciplinary understanding of emergency management issues and disaster science. She works with the Federal Emergency Management Agency building technical assistance programs for state and local stakeholders focusing on topics including dam safety, grocery and fuel supply chain resilience, community resilience, and evacuation/shelter-in-place planning. She has also been instrumental in the creation of FEMA’s Resilience Analysis and Planning Tool (RAPT) and the associated Community Resilience Challenges Index (CRCI).
