Melissa McCorvey

McCorvey leads the Physical Sciences and Engineering matrixed administrative support team and advances operational excellence across the organization. Prior to assuming this role, she served as Quality Assurance Manager at Formerra, leading organizational certification efforts and driving continuous improvement in complex operational environments. Earlier in her career at Argonne, she supported large-scale scientific projects as a Project Controls Specialist and as a Quality and Process Improvement Specialist, strengthening stakeholder engagement and delivering measurable efficiency gains. McCorvey holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a certified Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
