Biography
Michael Jaynes is a cyber security researcher and has worked at Argonne since 2017. He works on projects related to automotive cybersecurity, nonproliferation cybersecurity, machine learning, and cybersecurity challenge development. Michael has extensive experience in curriculum development and teaching for both international and domestic audiences of working professionals. He also has knowledge of software development, penetration testing, cyber-physical systems, cryptography, web scraping, and natural language processing. Michael helps build anomalies for the Department of Energy’s CyberForce Competition every year, and performs QA testing for CISA’s annual President’s Cup cybersecurity competition. He holds a CompTIA Security+ certification.
