Prakash Reddy Thimmapuram

Prakash Thimmapuram is the Group Leader – Grid Reliability and Resiliency in the Energy Systems and Infrastructure Assessment Division at Argonne National Laboratory. Mr. Thimmapuram has over 25 years of experience working in the areas of energy, environment and economic system analysis with specific focus on power system analysis, software development, optimization, energy storage, cybersecurity, electricity markets, resiliency, power system restoration, contingency analysis, unit commitment and dispatch, renewable integration, electric-natural gas interdependency, stead state and transient modeling of natural gas pipelines, etc. He has conducted several international training courses in S. Korea, Philippines, Portugal, Georgia, Croatia and for IAEA training courses held at Argonne using EMCAS and ENPEP.
