Electronics Engineer

Ricardo is an engineer with a background in physics. His work focuses on data acquisition and digital electronics for the ATLAS experiment at CERN.

Biography

Ricardo is involved in Argonne’s efforts in the development of the FELIX project. Ricardo’s firmware development, simulation and debugging capabilities are put to work to improve the readout of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. Although now his work is mostly centered around electronics, physics is his first passion, having studied it throughout his academic life. This allows him to have a good understanding of the present challenges in high energy physics.
