Sean Figuray

As the Student Operations Specialist, Sean assists the team in processing and hiring student interns for the numerous programs at Argonne. He assists with the onboarding process for over 1000 students each year to provide them with a rewarding and fruitful internship journey. Beyond this, Sean extends his support to the students during their time at Argonne, ensuring their experience is consistently positive from start to finish. Driven by a sense of satisfaction in aiding others, Sean is passionate about broadening access to STEM for students and individuals from diverse backgrounds.

During his pursuit of an Associate of Arts degree at the College of DuPage, Sean was the recipient of the Presidential Scholars Award, took on the role of a student ambassador, and successfully completed the honors program. He furthered his academic journey by earning a B.S. in Business Administration, with a focus on Human Resource Management, from the University of Saint Francis in Joliet.

Passionate about both physical and mental health, Sean enjoys hiking, exercising at the gym, and meditating.
