Biography
I am an X-ray physicist with a successful record in a wide range of X-ray diffraction fields including X-ray scattering theory, X-ray optics, applications of X-rays to studying crystals, experiments at several major synchrotrons, and development of beamline controls, beamline automation and data acquisition software for synchrotron radiation. I am also known for authoring the X-Ray Server project (https://x-server.gmca.aps.anl.gov) which has been online since 1998 and served more the 5,000,000 calculations for the community of X-ray scientists.
I received my Ph.D. in Crystallography and Crystal Physics from the Institute of Crystallography in Moscow (Russia) and then worked for the Institute of Nuclear Problems in Minsk (Belarus), for Humboldt University in Berlin (Germany), for Illinois Institute of Technology (BioCAT beamlines, APS Sector 18) and for the Argonne National Lab (GM/CA beamlines, APS Sector 23). You can access my publications at https://x-server.gmca.aps.anl.gov/Publications.html.
