Steven DelaCruz

Dr. Steven DelaCruz is a chemical engineer in the Pyroprocess Engineering Section in the Chemical and Fuel Cycle Technologies Division. An expert in the development of energy devices and sensors, Dr. DelaCruz leads several research projects in electrochemical separations for nuclear and non-nuclear materials, with aims focused on process development and optimization, sensor integration, and technology scale-up. His current research supports the closing of the nuclear fuel cycle and the production of critical materials for industrial applications.

 

Dr. DelaCruz received his PhD in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and his BS in chemical engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
