Biography
Su Jun Lim is an Intellectual Property and Commercialization Manager at Argonne National Laboratory, managing technology portfolios in energy storage, nanoscience, chemistry, and materials science. Drawing on extensive experience in both industry and academia, she brings strategic insight to partnership development and technology transfer initiatives.
Prior to joining Argonne, Su Jun managed asset monetization programs at General Electric (GE), where she demonstrated technical breadth and expertise in creating value from innovations. Her career in technology transfer spans a decade, with stops at the University of Chicago, Michigan State University, the University of Arizona, and the University of Hawai‘i.
Su Jun holds a Ph.D. in genetics from the University of Rochester Medical Center, and she completed her postdoctoral research in genomics at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIDDK/NIH). Her scientific background, combined with her technology commercialization experience, enables her to bridge the gap between laboratory-developed innovations and industry impact.
