Biography
Tanjin He is an Argonne Scholar-Maria Goeppert Mayer Fellow in the Data Science and Learning Division at Argonne National Laboratory. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley. His research primarily focuses on Data-Centric Materials Discovery. He utilizes natural language processing and computer vision to distill scientific knowledge automatically from various sources, including journal articles and patents. Through big-data-driven analysis and physics-based explainable machine learning, he develops predictive algorithms for the rational design and autonomous synthesis of advanced materials.
