Biography
Dr. Tat Nghia (Tim) Nguyen is a Principal Nuclear Engineer in the Nuclear Science and Engineering Division. His current research focuses on multi-physics modeling, physics-based fault diagnostics, and automated reasoning for nuclear applications. He is the primary author and developer of the innovative methods and algorithms of the code PRO-AID under development at Argonne for advanced plant condition monitoring. The code has been used in various DOE sponsored projects and applied to various nuclear utility datasets which demonstrated its unique capabilities under real-time plant conditions.
