Biography
I am a beamline scientist and crystallographer at 11-ID-B, a high energy X-ray total scattering beamline suitable for in situ and operando experiments with a wide range of materials, including battery electrodes, catalysts, gas storage materials, functional nanomaterials and so on.
My current project is developing a data pipeline to process the 2D diffraction data on-the-fly. The project involves research in advanced image segmentation methods to facilitate data reduction and analysis. I am also interested in analyzing material structures with powder X-ray diffraction or pair distribution function (PDF) methods to explain their properties from the structures.
