Yasaman Ghadar

Computational Scientist

Biography

Yasaman Ghadar is an Assistant Computational Scientist in the performance engineering group in the Leadership Computing Facility at Argonne National Laboratory. Her research is focused on using molecular dynamic simulation and electronic structure method to understand and characterize phenomena at phase boundaries and interfaces. Application for these are in lithium ion batteries and solvent extraction processes.

As an ALCF member I help organizing and developing training activities for the current ALCF HPC systems and for future exascale systems to be deployed at the facility.
