Biography
Yixuan Sun received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, data science and machine learning from Purdue University in 2022. He was a Givens Associate at Argonne in the summers of 2020 and 2021 and joined the laboratory as a postdoctoral associate in Oct. 2022. He is currently applying and studying artificial intelligence/machine learning in solving engineering problems, including materials discovery and design and dynamical systems with physics-informed neural nets, graph neural nets, and operator networks.
