I am a beamline scientist at HPCAT of X-ray Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory. I received my Ph.D from Department of Applied Science at University of California, Davis under Prof. Stephen Cramer. My Ph.D research was focus on studying metalloproteins such as nitrogenase and hydrogenase with X-ray spectroscopic methods. At HPCAT, my research interest is to study electronic and magnetic structure of materials under high pressure with X-ray spectroscopic methods (NRS, IXS, XES etc.). In addition to my own research work, my main responsibility at HPCAT is developing and running user program at 16 ID-D beamline dedicated for high pressure X-ray spectroscopic research.
