Biography

Zachary is a Risk Analyst in the Decision and Infrastructure Sciences Division. He is an experienced analyst, researcher, and planner with expertise in critical infrastructure, energy security, and global affairs. Zachary’s mission is to fortify national and homeland security and build resilience through proactive planning and risk management processes. He conducts research and analyses, creates decision-support tools and methodologies, and manages projects in the Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security portfolios.

Zachary holds a master’s degree in infrastructure planning and management from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in geography from Illinois State University. He is also a certified planner (AICP)
