Biography

My research interests focus on the structure, kinetics and dynamics at the surfaces and interfaces of polymers, biomembranes and their nanocomposites with nanoparticles. I mainly use x-ray techniques such as x-ray diffraction, grazing-incidence scattering, and coherent x-ray scattering. I am also interested in modeling and theoretical development for x-ray scattering data analysis. Current research projects include: liquid polymer surface dynamics, polymer nanofiber structures, lipid biomembrane structures and dynamics, interfacial assembly of nanoparticles and diblock copolymers, coherent surface scattering imaging.
