The Advanced Propulsion and Power department aims to accelerate technology development of hard-to-electrify sectors like rail, marine, aviation, heavy industry, and on-road transport by developing and transferring data, knowledge and tools to industry. The team uses the unique capabilities with the national laboratory complex such as the Advanced Photon Source and Leadership Computing resources.
