Advanced Mobility and Charging Technologies

The Advanced Mobility and Charging Technologies  (AMCT) department focuses on overcoming barriers related to emerging vehicle technologies and electric vehicle grid integration. Through collaborative projects with government, industry, and academia this multi-disciplinary team with decades of experience in experimental RD&D develops solutions for connected and automated vehicles, advanced electrified powertrains and smart vehicle grid integration. The team develops and employs novel experimental capabilities including dynamometer and on-road vehicle hardware-in-the-loop capabilities, mobile data acquisition systems, and enabling grid integration technologies.
