Biography
I am a scientist working at Advanced Photon Source, part of the Time-resolved research (TRR) group within the X-ray Science Division.
My research interests focus on developing pump-probe X-ray tools and microscopy to study non-equilibrium structural and electronic processes in materials following photo- and/or electrical-excitation.
Examples of such processes include light-induced phase changes, transient heating/disordering, transient strain and polaronic effects in addition to transient domain/defect generation/annihilation in complex materials.
Understanding such dynamic processes are critical to develop high efficiency devices such as photovoltaic devices and quantum light emitters.
