Beams and Applications Seminar

A hybrid seminar series exploring topics related to the physics, technology, and applications of particle and photon beams sponsored by the Argonne Accelerator Institute (AAI).

The Argonne Beams and Applications (B&A) Seminar provides a collaborative platform for accelerator scientists, engineers, and technicians to explore topics related to the physics, technology, and applications of particle and photon beams. Sponsored by the Argonne Accelerator Institute (AAI), the seminar fosters cross-disciplinary discussions among the laboratory’s accelerator groups and highlights both current and aspirational projects in which Argonne is actively involved.

Seminars are held approximately twice a month in a hybrid format. Suggestions for speakers or topics are welcome and can be submitted via Microsoft Forms. Speaker and topic selections are made by the B&A Seminar Committee.

Those from outside Argonne who wish to attend in person must contact accelerator@​anl.​gov to arrange a gate pass.
