The LENS Consortium will also nurture the growing sodium-ion battery (NIB) industrial ecosystem in the U.S. by creating an industrial advisory board that includes both well-established and emerging U.S. companies commercializing this technology. The Consortium is ideally positioned to lead the U.S. towards a future in which NIB technology becomes a significant portion of the national battery industrial base.
