Cars are judged on speed by competing in multiple heats. The cars with the best time will advance to the final heat. Cars are also evaluated on their overall creative design.

Our competition is returning to an in-person format and will be held at Argonne National Laboratory on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Registration Requirements

• Teams must be comprised of 3-5 middle school (6^th-8^th grade) students from the same school.
• Coach must be a teacher or administrator of the school.
• Up to two teams per school can compete.
• Teams are selected on a first-come, first-serve basis.
