A collaboration between the University of Illinois Chicago and Argonne, the Crabtree Institute is dedicated to harnessing the combined strengths of the two institutions, driven by a mission to advance knowledge, propel innovation, build a diverse scientific workforce and create sustainable solutions to address pressing scientific challenges facing our society, economy and environment.

Northwestern-Argonne Institute of Science and Engineering

The Northwestern Argonne Institute of Science and Engineering (NAISE) brings together researchers at Northwestern University and Argonne to create powerful collaborations in fields such as energy, biological and environmental systems, data science and computation, materials, and national security.

Q-NEXT brings together the world’s leading minds from national laboratories, universities and technology companies to solve cutting-edge challenges in quantum information science.

UChicago Consortium for Advanced Science and Engineering

Through joint appointments, UChicago CASE brings new research, training and mentoring opportunities to scientists at Argonne and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratories in engineering, public policy and the computational, biological, physical, and social sciences.
